Give your cat a complete food with a high proportion of animal-derived ingredients in a convenient freeze-dried form. Dr Malou Chicken & Pumpkin combines chicken meat and liver with pumpkin and other carefully selected ingredients.

After adding water, the freeze-dried food quickly turns into a juicy wet meal. You can adjust the amount of water according to the desired consistency – from thicker wet food to a light meat soup.

High chicken meat content

The recipe is based on 82% chicken breast, complemented by 7% chicken liver. It also contains 6% pumpkin.

Chicken meat is a natural source of animal protein, while chicken liver contributes to the rich flavour and naturally provides various vitamins and minerals. Pumpkin adds fibre to the recipe.

Pumpkin as part of the daily diet

Pumpkin is a natural source of fibre. Together with cellulose and psyllium, it forms part of the recipe designed to support normal digestive function.

The food also contains FOS, which are included as part of the recipe to support the intestinal microflora.

Fish oil, taurine and other nutrients

The recipe is enriched with fish oil, a source of omega-3 fatty acids, and taurine at 1,300 mg/kg.

It also contains B vitamins, vitamin D3, vitamin E and minerals such as iron, zinc, copper, manganese and iodine.

Complete food for cats

Dr Malou Chicken & Pumpkin is a complete food, not simply a treat or complementary food. It is intended for everyday feeding and provides a balanced combination of animal-derived ingredients and other essential nutrients.

Freeze-drying for convenient storage and preparation

During freeze-drying, water is gently removed from frozen ingredients. This makes the food lightweight, practical to store and easy to portion.

Before serving, simply add 60–100 ml of lukewarm water depending on the desired consistency. Leave for approximately one minute and mix thoroughly.

Depending on the amount of water added, you can prepare:

• wet food,
• thick soup,
• light meat soup.

Once water has been added, the food should be consumed within 30 minutes.

High moisture content after preparation

Adding water increases the moisture content of the prepared meal. Depending on the amount of water added, the prepared food can contain approximately 84.3–89.9% moisture.

This allows you to adjust both the consistency and the amount of water included in each meal.

Grain-free and without unnecessary additives

The recipe is free from grains, gluten, soy, lactose and added salt. It also contains no preservatives, emulsifiers, flavour enhancers or artificial flavours.

Feeding recommendation and preparation

Approximate daily amount according to your cat's body weight:

• 1–2 kg: 2–3 portions per day
• 2–3 kg: 3–4 portions per day
• 4–5 kg: 5–6 portions per day
• 5–6 kg: 6–7 portions per day

Add approximately 60–100 ml of lukewarm water to each portion, depending on the desired consistency. Adjust the daily amount according to your cat's age, activity level and body condition.
